Hello
We are a British couple who live mostly in south-west France, on the edge of a small village , about 20 minutes away from the world famous St Emilion.
Our life when we are here is very much tied into the life of the village and particularly the vignerons who are our neighbours – the annual cycle of vine cultivation is deeply embedded in everything they and therefore we do.
We have a small dog, Cedric who we walk everyday in the vineyards. He is a Lagotto Romagnolo. Cute as.
We are together creating a garden of about 1 acre which surrounds our house, which is in turn surrounded by the vineyards. The garden photos on this website are from our garden. Deb generally does propagation and planting, John does construction and planning and together we argue about design until we get to a solution.
Deb is into cooking, ceramics and often does contract work in England. John holds the fort in France, looks after Cedric and writes and plays his guitar.
